The current sailing season at A-Rosa will now expire at the end of January 2024. Instead of till 11st January as originally scheduled, ships will now sail through 31st January.
Cruises will then start up again on 29th February of the following year, three weeks earlier than initially planned. Following a brief rest for the fleet, the European River Cruise Line’s sailings will start sooner than before in 2019.
A-Rosa Sena’s first five-night “Rhine City Experience” voyage will now depart three weeks earlier on 29th February, travelling to Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Utrecht. As a result, four additional departure dates are now available for purchase before the initial scheduled start date of 20th March.
The four-night “Mini Cruise Main & Lorelei” itinerary of the A-Rosa Silva will now leave port on March 2, two weeks sooner than originally planned. According to the ship and schedule, four-night Danube tours will once again start on 4th March.
For instance, the four-night “Danube Mini Cruise Cities & Wachau” itinerary on the A-Rosa Flora will begin two and a half weeks sooner with four more departures, as opposed to the four-night itineraries on the A-Rosa Mia and A-Rosa Riva, which would begin one month earlier.
This year, before the ships go for their yearly winter holiday, the seasons in France and on the Douro in Portugal will come to a planned conclusion. The Rhone, Saone, and Douro have seasons that go until the end of October.
Lucia Rowe, managing director for the UK and Ireland, stated: “Extending our season on the Rhine and Danube to feature even more departures offers agents an even great choice of options to sell.
“As these shoulder season dates are four and five nights durations, they are the perfect product to promote to short break customers who want to see more cities in one trip and fancy giving river cruising a try.”
