The north-eastern shore of the island is home to the 7Pines Resort Sardinia, which began accepting guests on 1st August.
The beachfront resort in Costa Smeralda has 76 rooms, including eight junior suites and 20 suites. It is the second property under the 7Pines brand after the 7Pines Resort Ibiza.
Using granite and white marble from Orosei, ceramics created by regional artists, and handcrafted textiles from Samugheo, all accommodation tiers feature views of the ocean or gardens.
A spokesman clarified: “Every space pays homage to the spirit of the island and its cultural traditions. Architecture, materials and fabrics all honour the nature of the Gallura region, perfectly blending with the atmosphere and style which Costa Smeralda is fondly celebrated for.”
A corner bar will also be provided in each room, complete with ingredients, equipment, and cocktail-making instructions.
Three restaurants and three bars are included in the gourmet selection, which is overseen by executive chef Pasquale D’Ambrosio. The resort’s fine dining establishment, Capogiro, serves Mediterranean food. With a market-style counter and a view of the pool, Spazio offers visitors a selection of locally sourced meats and fish that are barbecued on the barbeque.
Additionally, there is a pool bar and the Cone Club, which offers food from a menu developed by Michelin-starred chef Tohru Nakamura in conjunction with regional farmers, fishermen, and producers.
There are four quiet coves, a major private beach, a gym, and the Pure Seven Spa on the property. Tennis courts and a beach club with a personal jetty are also located there.
Numerous water sports are available, along with yoga, Pilates, and meditation classes. Additional activities offered by the property include horseback riding, e-bike excursions, guided walks, helicopter flights over Sardinia’s coastline, tours in Ferrari 488 Spiders, and sailing excursions.
The concierge staff may help visitors arrange a variety of local activities, such as workshops on traditional cooking, archaeological tours of sites from the middle to late Bronze Age in northern Sardinia, and shepherding experiences on nearby farms.
Between 6th and 14th September, the resort will host its inaugural sports academy with Olympic gymnast Jury Chechi from Italy. Chechi, a former gold medalist in the rings, will teach calisthenics to kids, teens, and adults.
The first Hyatt-affiliated hotel on Sardinia, 7Pines is a part of Destination by Hyatt.
