Unveiling the Culinary Delights Aboard Celebrity Ascent

Celebrity Cruises has released information on the food and drink options onboard its future ship, the Celebrity Ascent. According to a statement from the company, The Celebrity Ascent will provide revamped dining options, a new evening experience, enlarged food and drink menus, a new whisky sampling opportunity, and a plant-based supper.

“The memories we make with family and friends while sharing food and drink has long been one of the most memorable parts of travel, and with Celebrity Ascent we sought every opportunity to make these experiences richer and even more exciting for our guests,” says Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.

“Onboard Ascent there is something to delight every guest, whether it is the fine dining connoisseur with a palate for the world’s best wines, the couple looking for an intimate and romantic night out, the family that desires to bond with their kids over a fun and high-energy experience, or the wellness-minded traveler desiring more plant-based, healthy options.”

Daniel Boulud, Celebrity’s Global Culinary Ambassador, will go on the Celebrity Ascent with his restaurant idea. The new Le Voyage will include luxurious banquet chairs and gold tones. Boulud created the menu and will feature dishes from his favourite and personal adventures.

At Eden, diners may savour a new seven-course plant-based tasting menu for an upgraded dining experience. The Chef’s Table is a private dining room that seats up to six people.

Four primary dining establishments with distinct menus and styles are also provided by Celebrity Ascents. Customers can sample New American fare at Cosmopolitan, Mediterranean fare at Cyprus, French modern at Normandie, and Italian fare at Tuscan. There are 84 different dishes available throughout all of the eateries.

Additionally updated to offer customers upgraded menus are specialty eateries including Le Petit Chef, Fine Cut, and Blu. Furthermore, as a result of a recent collaboration with WhistlePig Whisky, Ascent will offer two barrels created especially for Celebrity Cruises and sold at Craft Social.
