Lufthansa Takes You to Oktoberfest: Stansted to Munich Direct Flights

For the annual Oktoberfest, Stansted will now have dedicated flights to Munich. In order to serve the beer festival between 15th September and 1st October, Lufthansa has arranged 11 flights.

Flights scheduled to leave at 7.55 p.m. and arrive in Munich at 10.45 p.m. start at £124 for a roundtrip ticket.

Oktoberfest is the largest public celebration in the world, with more than six million visitors each year. The festival this year takes place from September 16 to October 3.

Heinrich Lange, Senior Sales Director for Lufthansa Northern Europe, stated: “Oktoberfest in Munich enjoys popularity worldwide, especially in Great Britain. Visitors from the United Kingdom are among the top nationalities at this festival.

“Lufthansa is responding to this local demand by offering special nonstop flights to reach the Bavarian capital quickly and easily.

“The departure from London Stansted is particularly interesting for all Oktoberfest fans travelling from the east of England and north London.”
