In conjunction with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel franchisor in the world with almost 9,100 hotels spread across over 95 countries, Mr. BS Gautam, a businessman and hotel owner, today announced the launch of Days Inn by Wyndham Gangtok Tadong.
At a height of 1,650 m (5,410 ft), Gangtok is situated in the eastern Himalayan range. With a pleasant, temperate environment year-round and nestled between higher Himalayan ranges. It serves as Sikkim tourism’s primary hub. The most popular times of year for tourists are the summer and spring. With activities like hiking, mountaineering, river rafting, and other outdoor pursuits, ecotourism has become a significant economic driver in the area. As one of the few states in India where gambling is permitted, Sikkim has designated areas for casinos in the majority of its upscale hotels.
The hotel has 43 modern rooms with 24-hour dining, conference rooms, a gym, and a swimming pool. The 58th hotel to open in Eurasia is this one, which is Wyndham’s first Days Inn in Gangtok.
More than 50 jobs for young people in the state of Sikkim will be created by the launch of Days Inn by Wyndham Gangtok Tadong.
