New 2024 itineraries from Hurtigruten Expeditions explore the Patagonian fjords of South America and Antarctica.
The Chilean fjords, South Georgia, and the Falkland Islands will be visited by travellers on Hurtigruten’s upcoming Antarctica adventures. The Maud’s 17-day Antarctica, Patagonia, and Chilean Fjords Expedition journey, departing from Punta Arenas, Chile with seven days of Antarctica adventures, is one of the new 2024 expeditions.
Dates of departure include:
22nd November; 7th and 22nd December in 2024
5th and 20th February: 6th and 21st January in 2025.
In addition, Hurtigruten’s Maud will sail on 23- and 24-day trips from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Antarctica and to Punta Arenas, giving passengers the chance to travel through South America, the Falkland Islands, and South Georgia in one journey.
On 1st November 2024, the 23-day Springtime Expedition to Antarctica voyage departs, and on 7th March 2025, the 24-day Voyage to the Late Summer Sun trip departs.
The 23-day In-Depth Antarctica and Patagonia Expedition, which leaves on 7th March 2024, and 15th March 2025, is one of several longer Antarctica cruises that the expedition line’s Fram will operate.
Adventurers can anticipate a number of expeditions aboard the Roald Amundsen and the Fridjof Nansen, including the 12-day Highlights of Antarctica itinerary with a combined total of 29 departures in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and the 18-day Antarctica and Patagonia cruise (departing on 17th and 27th October 2023, and 21st October, and 1st November 2024).
Additionally, the Roald Amundsen will run a series of 18 Antarctic Circle adventures where travellers can visit Antarctica and take part in activities including hiking, kayaking, ice cruising, whale watching, and meeting juvenile penguins. Six voyages between January 2024 and February 2025 are available to guests.
