Early in 2024, the new Sun Princess will make her debut with Park19, a brand-new family recreation area.
Princess Cruises claims that the new location, which has nine interesting activities, was created for energetic visitors and families with multiple generations.
Princess claims that Sea Breeze will be the first Rollglider to be installed on a cruise liner. The attraction, which carries visitors above the ocean to take in panoramic views, was motivated by the desire to go hang gliding but in a secure setting, according to the business. Using an overhead track, passengers are seated and secured to an electric ride, which is ADA accessible and travels at up to 11 mph during the 60 to 90 second experience.
Passengers can use the Coastal Climb to climb up from deck 19 to deck 20 utilising a climbing frame with a variety of challenges. Before sliding back down to the bottom, visitors can bask in the “gorgeous views” at the top, according to Princess.
The Lookout, a climbing structure designed as an open-air observation platform, is situated atop the Coastal Climb. From the Sun Princess’s highest point, Princess claims the area enables visitors to enjoy 360o vistas.
Along with a brand-new trekking experience, Sun Princess’ Park19 will also provide The Net. Instable bridges, a z-shaped balance beam, and climbable cargo nets make up the attraction, which is located above Deck 19.
Infinite Horizon, according to Princess, was created for visitors who enjoy heights. Passengers may stare out from deck 19 and down to deck nine and beyond thanks to leaning tilt walls that are cantilevered over the edge of the ship.
Hammock Area The Park19 will have a number of tranquil hammocks, which is another first for Princess. According to the business, the function enables visitors to “take a break from exploring” and hang out with loved ones.
Splash Zone Princess will also have its first water park at the new Sun Princess. According to the firm, the area will have a water sculpture and a splash area with pop jets that together create “a refreshing and relaxing area to chill.”
Ping pong, shuffleboard, and Xponential Fitness programmes are just a few of the activities available in the Recreational Court. Along with a variety of sports and wellness activities, the multipurpose sports court also serves as the location for morning meditation.
The outdoor Jogging Track brings Park19’s features to a conclusion. The facility, according to Princess, allows visitors to stroll, jog, or run at their own convenience and speed; 6.7 laps around the track equal one mile.
