Eid Al Adha Celebrations Around the World with Qatar Airways

Eid Al Adha festivities have begun on Qatar Airways with a schedule of events taking place both inside and outside of the airline’s lounges. Customised menus and exclusive prizes, which started yesterday and run until 1st July, will assist the airline and its guests commemorate the end of the Hajj journey.

The oneworld member airline has a reputation for being among the most opulent in the air, and its premium passengers receive greater care than most. These cabins’ passengers will be greeted at the airport with special drinks to start the flight’s festivities. A custom à la carte menu is waiting once you’re in the air.

This includes a Middle Eastern spicy prawn meal and lentil soup, as well as “a special local dish prepared by Chef Aisha Al Tamimi.” Finally, what greater dessert choice could there be than the classic Baklava, which will be served in a special dessert box. In addition to the meal, the menu ‘will be provided with a themed festive lantern, serviette band and beverage coaster’ to further the celebration.

The festivities aren’t only for Qatar Airways’ first-class travellers; the airline’s economy passengers may also join in the fun. There will be Kunefe cheesecake for dessert along with “holiday favourites including dates and couscous salad with Labneh and a traditional grilled Kofta with Bukhari rice” in this cabin.

During the Eid Al Adha travel rush, Qatar Airways’ lounges in Bangkok, Beirut, Doha, London, Paris, and Singapore will also be in a festive mood. The fact that these celebrations are taking place all around the world shows how important Eid Al Adha is to Qatar Airways, its management, and its customers, as Group CEO Akbar Al Baker explained: “Eid Al Adha signifies an important occasion for our passengers. It is a time for sharing gifts and spreading positivity, as well as a time to reunite with friends and family. At Qatar Airways, we take pride in connecting passengers with their loved ones. To make their travel journey a memorable experience, we have added small gestures to make our passengers smile at every touchpoint.”

Naturally, the hub of the festivities will be the Qatar Airways Al Safwa First and Al Mourjan Business lounges at Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH). Qamar Al-Deen, Tamar-Hindi, and Jallab are among the beverages available here, along with “Eid flavours as part of the lounges’ food menus.”

In actuality, Qatar Airways is not the only airline from the Middle East to have observed Eid Al Adha on its flights. In fact, the UAE’s flag airline Emirates, located in Dubai, celebrated the holiday last year by providing a special menu on 60 of its itineraries. All classes of passengers have access to this.
