Uncover Mediterranean Wonders with Holland America’s National Geographic Day Tours

The “National Geographic Day Tours” that Holland America Line is introducing will provide tourists a chance to learn more about Mediterranean locations. The new, high-end shore excursions launched this summer onboard the Oosterdam and Nieuw Statendam and were created in collaboration with National Geographic.

Onboard these ships, passengers will have the option to learn about organic honeybee farms in Rhodes, Greece, discover strong female characters in Kusadasi, Turkey, or get a peek of a marine biologist’s day in Naples, Italy. A guide trained by National Geographic leads each tour.

The National Geographic tours for the summer of 2023 include:

• “A Day in the Life of a Marine Biologist” in Naples, Italy;
• “Meet the Locals in Santorini” in Santorini, Greece;
• “Influential Women in Turkey: From Past to Present” in Kusadasi, Turkey
• “The Fascinating World of Bees” in Rhodes, Greece
