Unveiling the Wonders of the South Pacific: Holland America Line’s 2024–25 Itinerary Released

Three ships will explore Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, according to a portion of Holland America Line’s 2024–25 programme revealed today.

The Westerdam will cruise across Australia, and the Koningsdam and Zaandam will each provide a lengthier Legendary Voyage to the South Pacific and Hawaii.

According to Beth Bodensteiner, chief executive officer of Holland America Line, “Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific are iconically beautiful locations, but they have so much more to offer which is why they remain high on the bucket list of travelers who are looking to see the world with the ease of a cruise,”

“The Australia Circumnavigation itinerary is the most in-depth immersion a cruiser can have of the continent, and many of our Legendary Voyages make it possible to visit distant destinations from a North American homeport. These cruises are among some of the most notable we offer.”

The cruise line’s lengthy Legendary Voyages are between 25 and 59 days long and provide a wide choice of ports in every location.

The Australia and New Zealand 2024–2025 Season’s high points include:

On 17th November 2024, the 35-day Australia Circumnavigation Legendary Voyage will depart from Sydney. The trip includes overnight stops in Hobart, Tasmania, and Fremantle (Perth), Australia.

The Westerdam will travel between Auckland and Sydney on 14-day Australia and New Zealand trips from January through March 2025. Six ports in New Zealand are visited by the cruises, in addition to a stop in Hobart.

On 22nd December 2024, a 14-day New Zealand Holiday cruise leaves Sydney. Six ports in New Zealand will be visited during the cruise, with an overnight stop in Wellington.

The South Pacific 2024–2025 Season’s high points include:

The 51- or 56-day Zaandam Tales of the South Pacific cruise. The ship sets off roundtrip from San Diego on 30th September 2024, while the 56-day voyage leaves Vancouver on 25th September. Hawaii, Kiribati, Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Niue, Cook and Society Islands, Marquesas, and Tahiti are among the stops on the route.

The Westerdam will make the 23-day South Pacific Crossing on 24th October 2024, leaving from Seattle. Calls are made in Hawaii, New Caledonia, Fiji, and American Samoa during the cruise.

The Koningsdam will embark on the 35-day Legendary Voyage to Hawaii, Tahiti, and the Marquesas on 15th February 2025, from San Diego. The itinerary calls in Honolulu, Raiatea, Moorea, and Papeete for the night.

On 30th March 2025, the 29-day South Pacific Crossing will depart from Sydney. In addition to an overnight stay in Honolulu, the voyage visits at 12 ports in Hawaii, American Samoa, Fiji, and New Caledonia.
