Norse Atlantic Introduces Daily Flights from Sussex to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale to Follow

Norse Atlantic Airways, a transatlantic low-cost airline, has introduced two new routes from Gatwick to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale in Florida.

The Norwegian airline has commenced services from the Sussex gateway to Orlando starting Thursday, 25th May, and to Fort Lauderdale on Friday, 26th May. The airline already provides daily flights to New York and plans to introduce more destinations in the United States later this summer.

During May and June, the Gatwick-Orlando route will have four weekly flights, which will increase to a daily service in July. Norse Atlantic’s Gatwick-Fort Lauderdale flights will initially operate three times per week until the end of June and then increase to four flights per week in July for the remainder of the summer schedule.

Casandra Matej, the President and CEO of Visit Orlando, stated that “Low-cost air carriers like Norse are particularly appealing for families and visitors on a budget, who are looking to save money on travel while enjoying the sunshine in the theme park capital of the world.”

Norse Atlantic utilizes Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft equipped with economy and premium cabins. The premium cabins offer seats with a 43-inch pitch and a 12-inch recline.
