Three new Arctic excursions have been added to Viking’s 2025 schedule. The new routes, which span 13 to 27 days, go to Canada and Greenland’s polar regions.
The 13-day Into the Northwest Passage route departs from Nuuk, Greenland, and makes eight excursions and port calls at Ilulissat, Uummannaq, Pond Inlet, and Sisimiut. £11,495 is the starting price.
Travelling from Toronto to Quebec, Newfoundland, Ivittuut, Paamiut, Kapisillit, and Nuuk during a 15-day period, passengers on the Canada & Greenland Explorer programme will take part in 11 featured tours. £11,695 is the sailing’s lead-in price.
The 27-day Canada & the Northwest Passage itinerary is the longest of the new routes; it sails the whole Northwest Passage cruise and makes calls in Newfoundland, Quebec, and Toronto before coming to an end in Toronto. Starting with eight tours, prices are £20,995.
President of Viking, Torstein Hagen, stated: “From the time of Leif Eriksson and the original Vikings, Greenland, and the Canadian High Arctic have fascinated intrepid explorers.”
“Today, there is no better way to experience this pristine area of the world than from the comfort of our purpose-built expedition ships.”
