The actress Sophia Loren will be the godmother of MSC Euribia, the company’s 19th vessel, at the naming ceremony. She will choose the name for the new ship due to her “long-standing personal relationship” with the line.
On 8th June, Copenhagen will host the naming ceremony for what has been dubbed the company’s most environmentally advanced ship. Due to its strong maritime legacy and commitment to sustainability, the capital city of Denmark was selected as the site for the ship’s debut.
The MSC Euribia is the second vessel in MSC Cruises’ fleet to run on LNG, which is marketed as the cleanest and most effective fuel for cruise ships currently used on a large scale in commerce.
Advanced onboard wastewater treatment systems, trash handling, energy efficiency measures, and undersea radiated noise management systems are a few examples of environmental technology that might lessen the possible influence on the marine environment.
