This winter, British Airways will resume service on the Gatwick-Sharm el Sheikh route.
Starting on 3rd November, flights will be run by BA’s Gatwick subsidiary, Euroflyer, four times each week. The Monday, Wednesday, and Friday service will continue, and a Saturday flight will operate through 15th December.
For travelers only carrying hand bags, return economy airfare starts at £221, while business class airfare begins at £846.
A single-aisle Airbus A320 that will fly a roundtrip in a single day is what BA believes will make the route economical. The first flight will depart Gatwick at 8:00 and land at 15:20. Return service departs at 16.10 and arrives at 20.00.
Prior to this, the crew of the mainline operation’s wide-body Boeing 777 stayed in the resort following the route’s five-and-a-half-hour trip, rendering it unprofitable.
Free snacks and water are provided in the main cabin, and additional products can be purchased.
