With a variety of delectable foods, Virgin Atlantic has introduced its new Spring/Summer menu in all cabins starting 5th April.
The lobster and crab tortellini, the vegetarian poke bowl, and the traditional Pimms summer pudding have all been added to the Upper Class menu. The airline highlights the extra bits menu by debuting a club sandwich on brown bread with salted crisps and applewood cheese, house slaw, and seasonal greens. A tasty aloo tikki dish is additionally offered, along with pepper pakora, tomato and onion salad, and sweet tomato and chili chutney. Customers may travel to the sun with a delectable new Northern Bloc ice cream flavor including strawberries and cream.
Virgin Atlantic is excited to announce that starting on April 5th, it will fly the renowned rosé, Whispering Angel, for a period of six months. With a cold glass of Côtes de Provence in hand, Upper Class clients can unwind completely while savoring the evocative flavors of grapefruit and citrus. Beginning on the same day, Upper Class clients will also be able to enjoy teapigs peach iced tea, the best iced tea, an energizing and all-natural blend of delicious peach with teapigs’ black tea base.
The exquisite chicken pie and the spinach and ricotta tortellini with sage butter sauce, roasted pumpkin, and caper panko crumb will make it difficult for premium consumers to decide. For dessert, there is a beautiful passionfruit and mango cheesecake with coconut as a topping.
In Economy, a farfalle pasta dish with a spinach, ricotta cheese, and roasted garlic sauce will be offered in addition to a honey barbecued chicken thigh with Portuguese rice and steamed veggies.
Luxurious Cocoba chocolate candies will be supplied in every cabin on flights leaving the UK for the US and Caribbean from 7th to 10th April.
The King’s Coronation will be celebrated significantly because Virgin Atlantic never misses a party. What better way to salute the new King than with a miniature bottle of Lanson Black Label champagne as customers enter Upper Class on 6th May. Customers will receive a package of Joe & Seph’s Kings Coronation raspberry and white chocolate coated popcorn on flights leaving the UK for the US and Caribbean from 6th May to 8th May.
The airline will also serve a special Mile High Tea in Upper Class and Premium over the weekend in honor of King Charles, continuing the celebrations. Three finger sandwiches with dill cream cheese and roasted peppers, cheddar cheese, pickles, and mixed lettuce, as well as vegetarian coronation chickpea, will be served. Warm scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream are among the sweet delicacies, as are three little pastries: a red, white, and blue Battenburg, a calisson white chocolate and earl grey ganache, and a raspberry and rosewater macaroon.
Not to mention, Virgin Atlantic is excited to establish a partnership with Full Circle Farms to serve fresh food in its London Heathrow Clubhouse. The community farm introduces small-scale, regenerative farming practices to West Sussex and will supply the airline’s famed Clubhouse food with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The Full Circle Farms maintained by neighborhood volunteers who use the farm as therapy not only pioneer industry-leading procedures to ensure no pesticides or herbicides are used.
Those employed on the estate include veterans with PTSD who have been prescribed agricultural labor by their doctors as well as individuals with autism who are earning their farming credentials. By July, fresh food from Full Circle will be incorporated into the Clubhouse.
Virgin Atlantic cordially greets the return of Spring and Summer days, ensuring that everyone may find something to enjoy. These wonderful aboard and Clubhouse upgrades will make sure that clients’ vacations begin on the right foot, with plenty of filling meals offered by the top teams on the ground and in the air.
Virgin Atlantic’s inflight food and beverage selection is handled by catering partner Gate Gourmet.
Virgin Atlantic’s Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operating Officer, stated: “We’re pleased to mark the return of warmer days with an enhanced food and drinks service onboard. At Virgin Atlantic we’re always working to create unique and personal experiences for our customers, and delicious dishes and refreshments never go unnoticed.
“Delighting our customers is what our teams do best; offering fantastic and extensive choice in our Clubhouse and onboard, with special touches to celebrate momentous occasions. We will continue to develop our offering, to delight our customers as they do business, visit family, or seek the sun.”
