Beginning in February 2023, Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas will offer nine-night Southeast Asian cruises with brand-new shore excursions in Thailand and Vietnam.
“Vietnam and Thailand are hugely popular with our guests from Singapore – their distinctive food, culture and welcoming locals have made the countries a destination of choice for many, and we are thrilled to be able to explore the countries further, so travelers can fully experience the wonders and rich heritage of the Southeast Asian region,” said Angie Stephen, vice president and managing director, Asia-Pacific, Royal Caribbean International.
“We continue to work closely with governments in the region to connect our guests with new destinations, adventures, and experiences, and to become a gateway for fly-cruisers from around the globe looking to experience the excitement of Southeast Asia.”
As addition as enjoying shore excursions in Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My), passengers on the Spectrum of the Seas will have the chance to discover various cultures, historical landmarks, and street food in Vietnam and Thailand.
Travelers can savor seafood in the Vietnamese capital and take a swim in a mud bath while in Nha Trang. They can also see the grandeur of the ancient temples in Phu My.
Together with brand-new routes to China and Japan in 2023 and 2024, the Spectrum of the Seas will also make three- to five-night voyages to Thailand (Phuket) and Malaysia (Penang and Port Klang).
Activities for all ages will be available on the ship. The Asian-inspired cuisine in Teppanyaki, Sichuan Red, and Hot Pot, as well as private dining rooms and lounges, are highlights of the voyages. Also, passengers can take advantage of Royal Caribbean’s renowned SeaPlex attractions, which include the FlowRider surf simulator, North Star, RipCord by iFly, and the skydiving simulator.
