The opening of Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville was announced by Hilton, Easton’s Group of Hotels, and The Gupta Group. This boutique hotel, the brand’s first in Canada, offers refined experiences with a regional flair in one of Toronto’s most prestigious neighborhoods.
This 184-room hotel, which debuts the brand in Canada, is a short distance from the famous Yorkville and Rosedale neighborhoods and features stylish interiors, regional food, and first-rate services.
The 184-room hotel’s thoughtful and genuine design, spearheaded by Studio Munge, embraces the best of the neighborhood. The hotel lobby, Canopy Central, welcomes visitors with layered furnishings, curved edges, and organic themes, all of which are supplemented by an exceptional collection of regional art.
The building combines oak characteristics with copper accents to showcase the special relationship between nature and modern life in a homage to its special location between lively Yorkville and forested Rosedale. A sleek indoor pool, a contemporary fitness center that incorporates local street art, a transfer lounge, and 3,500 square feet of meeting space are among the public spaces found in “Just-Right” guest suites.
The executive chef and chief food aficionado at Canopy Toronto Yorkville, Justin Raponi, will oversee two on-site dining options. D’a is a gathering spot where guests may savor seasonal fare and unusual wines and spirits.
D’a serves a wide range of food, including delicious cheeses, pizza made in the Roman style, and more. Both tourists and locals can take advantage of the restaurant’s renowned wine list and sample beverages as part of Canopy’s customized evening tastings.
When it comes to lighter fare, Virtu Café & Provisions cultivates a close relationship with the nearby neighborhoods and the entire city. The hotel’s all-day café will provide carefully sourced, locally inspired food and promote a connection with the neighborhood when it opens a few months following the premiere of Canopy Toronto Yorkville.
Canopy Toronto Yorkville will take part in Hilton Honors, the world-class portfolio of 19 distinctive hotel brands owned by Hilton that counts more than 150 million members and is a recipient of numerous guest loyalty awards.
When a member books directly, they will have access to a variety of immediate perks, such as a flexible payment slider that lets them choose almost any ratio of Points to cash to book a stay, special member discounts, cost-free basic Wi-Fi, and access to the Hilton Honors mobile app.
One of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods, Yorkville offers top-notch dining, shopping, and cultural attractions in addition to well-known festivals like the Toronto International Film Festival. Visitors can see Rosedale’s natural beauty and even participate in neighborhood events like the yearly Mayfair, a spring festival. Some of the city’s most well-known sights, including the Royal Ontario Museum, Gardiner Museum, and Casa Loma, are close to Canopy Toronto Yorkville. The Sherbourne subway station, which connects visitors to the Greater Toronto Region, is a short distance from the hotel as well. Canopy Enthusiasts, hotel staff members with local knowledge, can connect visitors to the city’s most well-known attractions or hotspots. They can also provide guests with Canopy Bikes so they can explore what the neighborhood has to offer.
