As part of a “major” expansion from the Northern Irish base, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added two more routes to its summer 2024 timetable from Belfast to Bodrum and Malta.
The companies are expanding in their Northern Ireland operation by installing a fourth based aircraft at the airport for summer 2024 as a result of Jet2holidays becoming the largest tour operator in the UK.
Bodrum and Malta have been added, bringing the total number of seats available from Northern Ireland for the summer of 2024 to over 580,000.
By operating their largest summer program ever from Belfast the following year, the enterprises will have approximately 30% more capacity than summer 2023.
From 6th May to 28th October 2024, there will be weekly flights on Mondays to Bodrum, and from 28th March to 31st October 2024, there will be weekly flights on Thursdays to Malta.
Customers and salespeople can choose from 21 destinations out of Belfast starting in the summer thanks to the additional additions.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ chief executive, Steve Heapy, said: “We know these are destinations that our customers will love, and it adds even more choice from Belfast International with our award-winning business.
“We have always said how committed we are to Belfast International Airport, and investing in an additional aircraft demonstrates just how committed we are.”
