The second hotel in the new “Isla Brown” brand of luxury design resorts will open soon, according to the international hotel chain Brown Hotels. Isla Brown Chania, which will debut in May 2023 and is situated on the northern Cretan coast with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea, will be another addition to Brown Hotels’ five-star portfolio. With its modern design style, upgraded F&B concepts, and cutting-edge amenities, Isla Brown Chania is poised to revitalize the Cretan hospitality scene. It is conveniently positioned just 15 minutes from Chania International Airport and 30 minutes from Chania.
As the global hotel chain continues to expand its range of exclusive properties, Isla Brown Chania raises the bar for the hospitality services it provides. The 166-room Isla Brown Corinthia, a five-star resort on Greece’s Saronic Gulf, marked Brown Hotels’ expansion into beachside resorts in 2022. Two more four-star resorts, Brown Beach Eretria and Brown Beach Chalkida, were soon to follow. Brown Hotels is a company known for its quirky, design-driven boutique urban properties.
The architecture of Isla Brown Chania exhibits a simple, organic concept that beautifully reflects the wide natural surroundings. The new resort, which was created by Greek architectural firm Liakos Associates Architects, promotes the use of natural materials and has a chic interior with earthy, neutral tones. The hotel has three swimming pools, three unique restaurant ideas, an outdoor bar and lounge area, and 148 roomy suites. It also has a spa and wellness center.
The rooms of Isla Brown Chania showcase an organic aesthetic of earthy tones, adorned in cream, taupe, and brown colours, with plush green velvet and marble furnishings, natural wood fixtures, and upmarket gold accents. This is achieved by maximizing the use of natural materials. The hotel’s public spaces are similarly furnished in cozy, earthy tones with natural wood fixtures and furnishings and opulent gold accents. As the inside and outside are connected by floor-to-ceiling windows, streams of natural light flood the room and attract the eye across the Mediterranean Sea.
To meet the demands of every traveler, Isla Brown Chania offers two different accommodation types and four different suite variations. A “Deluxe Garden View” suite with a shared pool, a “Deluxe Sea View” suite with a private pool, a “Grand Suite” with a private pool, or a “Honeymoon Suite” with a private splash pool are some of the more roomy options available to guests. At Isla Brown Chania, every room and suite has a balcony and comes with free high-speed WiFi, flat-screen HD TVs, bathrobes, slippers, and upscale bathroom amenities.
Isla Brown Chania will make the most of its excellent location by utilizing an amazing outdoor terrace that touches the water, replete with a swimming pool, lounge area, and roomy bar selling drinks and snacks and a pizza “taboos.” The resort’s three distinctive restaurant concepts promise to make eating at Isla Brown Chania a memorable experience. An à la carte menu, the renowned Brown Hotels breakfast buffet, a major restaurant providing modern, fresh food, as well as a more traditional style taverna serving Greek culinary classics, will be available to hotel guests.
The wellness center at Isla Brown Chania will welcome visitors to enter a haven of peace and enjoy a variety of high-quality spa treatments, while also making use of its on-site gym, hammam, and sauna. As the resort keeps improving its offerings, Isla Brown Chania will add 30 more suites with private splash pools in 2024.
