In the spring, British Airways will resume flights to mainland China after a two-year hiatus caused by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Tickets for flights to Shanghai, which will restart on 23rd April, and Beijing, where BA flights will resume on 3rd June, went on sale on Thursday, 2nd February.
BA will run services to and from Beijing four times per week and to Shanghai every day. Hours after Virgin Atlantic said it would start flying again to Shanghai in May, BA announced its comeback to China.
Head of sales for British Airways’ Asia Pacific area, Noella Ferns, stated: “We can’t wait to welcome our customers back on board our flights from Shanghai and Beijing.
“We know they’ve been looking forward to reuniting with family and friends, coming to study in the UK and resuming business between China and the UK.”
