Kempinski Hotel Cancun Now Open in Mexico

With the opening of the “Kempinski Hotel Cancun” on 9th December 2022, a new chapter in one of the world’s most beautiful locations will begin for the luxury hotel chain, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.

The Kempinski’s famous “Ladies in Red” performed during the hotel’s blessing by the owning family’s priest, Luis Pablo Garza Aguiar, to start the ceremony. Before the ribbon-cutting ceremony, more than a hundred guests gathered for the Kempinski Hotel’s 125th anniversary cocktail, which began with a welcome from Interim General Manager Aref Sayegh and speeches from owner Ms. Claudia Molina Basteris and Chief Operating Officer of The Americas, Xavier Destribats. A harpist and the suitably called “Red Shoes” band supplied the entertainment. Executive Chef Rene Camelo oversaw the serving of delectable beverages and canapés.

With its beautiful sandy beaches and pristine ocean, the Kempinski Hotel Cancun is a spectacular addition to Kempinski’s portfolio, which now includes 82 properties across 36 countries.
