A summer 2023 debut flight to Majorca will depart from George Best Belfast City airport, according to Tui.
From 10th June 2023, through 26th August 2023, a weekly service will run on Saturdays.
Tui’s head of Ireland, Craig Morgan, stated: “We are delighted to operate once again from George Best Belfast City airport and believe Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, will prove a very popular choice for local Northern Ireland holidaymakers.
“The island is a firm favourite due to its short flight time, wide range of resorts offering quality hotels and apartments and attractions to suit everyone.”
Katy Best, commercial director at the airport, said: “We are thrilled to welcome back Tui to Belfast City airport with the announcement of a new charter service to Majorca.
“Belfast City Airport’s prime location, only five minutes from the city centre, coupled with its average security processing time of just six minutes, means that those travelling to Majorca will have a hassle-free and easy start to their trip.
“Providing Northern Irish passengers with more choice and convenience throughout summer 2023, this route will appeal to families, couples and friends wishing to take a break in the sun, and with the excellent variety of accommodation available we are confident that there will be a package to meet everyone’s requirements and budget.”
