On 14th December, Mandarin Oriental will welcome guests to its Silent Night spa experiences, which feature a new lineup of therapies developed in collaboration with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts.
The eighth Silent Night at Mandarin Oriental will be the first to include therapies influenced by Ayurveda and direction from Oberoi.
The annual Silent Night experience is designed to encourage people to practice mindfulness and silent reflection. A number of spas will provide free Silent Night-themed activities, including guided meditation and yoga, Reiki energy techniques, deep sleep applications, and acupressure treatment add-ons. Talking and music will stop in the spas at 5 o’clock.
Dr. Anuradha Mathad, who oversees Oberoi’s corporate spa and wellness programming, will discuss age-old ayurvedic treatments as part of this year’s partnership with Oberoi in an effort to help visitors achieve a state of “Samattva,” or tranquility. In addition to hosting a series of Samattva treatments at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park and Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus in December, Dr. Anuradha will feature Ayurvedic sleep techniques on the Mandarin Oriental website and social media channels.
