Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Secures Additional of New Slots at Stansted

With the addition of new slots at Stansted, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are now able to base an additional aircraft at the Essex airport and provide more flights and vacations to the Balearic Islands, Croatia, Greece, and Turkey.

There will be more flights to Ibiza, Majorca, Dubrovnik, Split, Corfu, Crete (Chania and Heraklion), Kos, Kefalonia, Rhodes, and Dalaman, among other destinations. Additionally, for the first time, the airline and operator will provide city breaks from Stansted to Rome and Athens.

It happens after Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy announced Jet2.com and Jet2holidays would aim to launch new locations over the coming months and improve its position in the Mediterranean during his speech at the Jet2 conference earlier this month.

There are currently 2.1 million Jet2 seats available from Stansted to 42 sun and city locations for the summer of 2023, an increase of more than 10% from the summer of 2022. During the busiest months of the upcoming summer, July and August, when it will run more than 225 flights per week, Jet2 will also allocate a 16th aircraft to Stansted.
