The Explora I, the first of Explora Journeys’ six ships, will set sail in July of next year, and the company has provided information on its inaugural journey.
The company will launch with a 15-night trip to Northern Europe that will stop at 12 ports.
The inaugural trip of Explora I, dubbed A Maiden Journey through Epic Fjords and the Arctic Circle, will depart Southampton on 17th July 2023.
Prior to sailing to Norway, the ship will make a port call at Zeebrugge. In Norway, it will stop at Geiranger, Trondheim, Molde, Leknes, Bronnoysund, Flam, Bergen, and Stavanger. After that, it sets sail towards Denmark, stopping in both Skagen and Copenhagen.
The CEO, Michael Ungerer, stated: “Our vision and purpose from day one has been to create a travel and ocean experience like no other and we are thrilled that our ground-breaking new class of ship, Explora I, will introduce guests during her maiden journey to some of the most breath-taking destinations in Northern Europe while enjoying the finest luxury hospitality at sea.”
