Qatar Airways Reopens its Premium Lounge in Bangkok

For travellers flying First and Business Class on Qatar Airways and oneworld out of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, The World’s Best Airline has reopened its Premium Lounge doors.

The lounge has views of the terminal’s impressive exterior design as well as the airport’s wide, beautifully landscaped gardens. Before setting off on their journey, travellers can refresh at dedicated facilities. Spacious showers are available for rest and relaxation, and they come with premium toiletries created by renowned French perfumer Diptyque.

The Qatar Airways Premium Lounge in Bangkok, which opened in February 2018, draws inspiration from the contemporary Arabian style and Thai hospitality and welcomes travellers into a calm paradise.

The Premium Lounge has two roomy dining areas: The Global Deli, which offers a more casual buffet type of dining, and The Brasserie, which offers a traditional dining experience with a variety of world cuisines from an à la carte menu. The buffet offers a variety of hot and cold foods as well as a tasty assortment of Arabic appetisers such tabbouleh, hummus, and muhamara.

For travellers leaving from Bangkok, the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge is a haven. It enhances the airline’s award-winning First and Business Class service. In addition to its 10 weekly flights to Phuket, the airline currently runs 21 weekly flights to Bangkok using Airbus A380 and Boeing B777 aircraft.

In April 2022, Qatar Airways will continue to work with Thai celebrity chef and award-winner Ian Kittichai to introduce a new menu of Thai specialties for travellers leaving from Bangkok and Phuket. The new and updated menu is accessible to First and Business Class customers on Qatar Airways flights and contains entrees, main courses, and desserts, continuing the cooperation that was started in 2019.

Currently, Qatar Airways offers flights to more than 150 locations across the world, linking at Hamad International Airport in Doha.
