In 2023, Virgin Atlantic will launch new flights to the Maldives and Turks and Caicos.
Beginning on 22nd October 2023, Heathrow will provide three Maldives flights per week throughout the winter. The sale of tickets begins on 30th November.
On 15th November 2023, a twice-weekly Heathrow service to the Turks and Caicos will start, with tickets going on sale on 11th January 2023.
The Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and a return to St. Lucia will all be added to Virgin’s Caribbean flight schedule in the coming years, along with this new location.
Both new flights will be flown on the airline’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which has 192 Economy Delight, Classic, and Light seats in addition to 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium, and 35 Economy seats.
The cost will be revealed at a later time.
Virgin Atlantic’s chief commercial officer, Juha Jarvinen, said: “The Maldives has always been an incredibly popular destination for Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers, which is why we couldn’t wait to give them the opportunity to travel to the idyllic location in style onboard Virgin Atlantic aircraft.
“We’re delighted to begin flying to the Turks and Caicos islands, as we continue to grow our Caribbean portfolio, offering more choice for our customers to explore these beautiful islands and enjoy some winter sun.”
