In addition to starting a new route to Esbjerg, Eastern Airways has increased the number of flights to Newquay by two, and it has resumed its Jersey services from its base in Humberside.
The new three-weekly service in Denmark will start on 14th December and run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout the entire year.
In addition, the summer schedule for the line’s Newquay service has been quadrupled in frequency to a four-times-weekly route, with services beginning in the spring on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Jersey, meanwhile, has a longer season and will resume every Saturday beginning on 13th May.
Eastern Airways’ commercial director, Roger Hage, said: “This is a major dual development for the Humber region as we join the UK centre for renewable energy with Esbjerg in the west of Denmark.
“The renewable energy sector is fundamental to the employment and growth in the Humber as the energy estuary.”
