Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa Opening in Maldives

The Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa is the second Maldivian resort under the ownership of The Emerald Collection.

The resort, which is situated in the Raa Atoll, is 20 minutes by boat from Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa, the first property in the group. The Leading Hotels of the World includes both resorts.

The seven-hectare island where Emerald Faarufushi is located is encircled by a 100-hectare private lagoon with a natural coral reef. It provides two bars, five restaurants, and 80 villas.

Eight treatment rooms in treehouses are part of the Emerald Spa, which also has a sports complex with Technogym apparatus. Additionally, the resort has tennis and padel courts and the Dolphin Kids Club provides a schedule of events for kids and teenagers.

The Emerald Collection Deluxe All-Inclusive formula includes top foreign wines, beers, and spirits, as well as a la carte dining options, in the pricing.

Water at the resort is bottled, and the site is entirely free of plastic. One environmentally friendly project is coral farming.

Partner and managing director of The Emerald Collection, Aldo Scarapicchia, stated: “The new property will allow us to offer an integrated experience for international guests, with 80 additional accommodations between Beach and Water Villas, 70 of which have private pools. All our villas have been designed to comfortably host both couples and families with children.”

The 250-suite Emerald Zanzibar Resort & Spa, which will open in Zanzibar on 1st December and is situated in the Muyuni region of the island’s northeast, is scheduled to open.
