33 shore activities will be offered during MSC Cruises’ winter 2022–2023 Red Sea voyages with the MSC Splendida.
Cairo, the capital of Egypt, three embarkation ports in Sokhna Port and Safaga, both in Egypt, as well as Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, have been included to the voyages.
Seven-night voyages on the MSC Splendida stop at Sokhna Port, Safaga for excursions to Hurghada and Luxor in Egypt, Aqaba for Petra in Jordan, Jeddah for AlUla in Saudi Arabia, and Yanbu in Yemen.
The Great Pyramid of Giza may be visited with a 13-hour stopover in Sokhna Port, and Safaga offers 13 shore excursions.
From Aqaba, travelers have a choice of eight excursions, including the possibility to see Petra, an ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the middle of the Jordanian desert.
From Jeddah, travelers can arrange for three excursions: a cultural city tour, visits to Hegra and Al-Ula, an ancient city in the desert.
Four shore excursions are available from Yanbu, offering the ability to go snorkeling at the Iona Coral Reef or unwind on Baridi Island.
