Starting from next month, certain sailings on Royal Caribbean International won’t require passengers to have received their full dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Passengers will only be required to divulge their vaccination status during check-in beginning on 5th September for all European cruises and some US ports, including Los Angeles, Galveston, and New Orleans.
The pre-cruise testing procedures for the line will not change.
All eligible visitors should be properly immunized, according to Royal, and travelers are urged to travel with proof of immunization in case local authorities or employers in a particular location request it.
Unvaccinated passengers and those who are not up to date on their vaccinations may need to undergo additional testing at their own expense in order to go ashore and disembark at the end of their cruise. In some destinations, guests will be required to prove their vaccination status in order to go ashore.
