Every Sunday, British Airways will add another weekly service from Gatwick to Grenada, bringing the total to three.
Currently, the national flag carrier offers Wednesday and Saturday flights through St. Lucia to the Caribbean island.
The new weekly route will travel through Antigua and start on 30th October.
The head of the Grenada Tourism Authority, Petra Roach, hailed BA for having “faith” in the island’s potential as a travel destination.
“In the first half of 2023, we will see the opening of Six Senses, a 100 room luxury resort with six villas, and The Beach House with 31 rooms,” she said.
“The ‘Spice Isle’ offers a truly unforgettable experience all year round with something on offer for every type of traveller.”
Additionally, Virgin Atlantic offers service from Heathrow to Grenada on two weekly occasions through Barbados, departing on Tuesdays and Saturdays through 29th October 2022, and again on Tuesdays and Fridays starting on 1st November 2022.
