All Covid-related entrance limitations for international visitors have been removed by Malaysia.
Prior to entering the nation, travellers are no longer obliged to certify that they are up to date on their vaccinations, and the requirements for pre-departure and on-arrival tests have also been loosened.
Malaysia’s health minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, stated that limitations will be lifted on August 1 and that travellers would no longer be required to fill out the country’s travel permit to confirm their vaccination status. All visitors must meet the same requirements regardless of whether they have had a Covid-19 vaccination or not.
Although all restrictions for home surveillance and quarantine have been eliminated for arriving travellers, visitors may still be asked to download the MySejahtera app to monitor their covid status while inside the nation.
