Portugal has removed all Covid entry requirements for travelers, both vaccinated and not.
Fully jabbed immigrants are no longer need to provide proof of vaccination as of 1st July, and the requirement for testing has also been eliminated for individuals who have not received a vaccination.
The latest version of the Visit Portugal website reads as follows: “As of July 1, 2022, passengers entering national territory are no longer required to present proof of carrying out a test to screen for SARS-CoV-2 infection with a negative result or to present a Covid digital certificate or vaccination or recovery certificate.”
Face masks are still required in taxis, on public transportation, and when entering nursing homes, care facilities, and hospitals.
Additionally still recommended are frequent hand washing and social withdrawal.
