For visitors who have received vaccinations, the Cayman Islands government no longer requires a Covid test prior to departure.
After 1st July, visitors who have received all necessary vaccinations and are arriving in the Cayman Islands can enter by submitting a travel declaration form and providing proof of immunization instead of taking the Covid test.
Additionally, the place has lifted its requirement for facial covering, so visitors are no longer required to wear masks in public areas.
Travelers who are unvaccinated must still spend seven days in quarantine after arrival.
Kenneth Bryan, the minister of tourism and transportation, said: “These latest developments signal the exciting transition into the next phase of our strategic reopening plan.
“We are delighted to make the journey to Cayman a bit smoother for our global guests and we look forward to showcasing our tourism community to all who come ashore.”
Rosa Harris, the Cayman Islands’ head of tourism, said: “For more than two years we have kept a close eye on the global travel landscape and have adapted our protocols accordingly.
“We are excited that this new phase is upon us as we are eager to welcome our international friends back to the Cayman Islands without pre-arrival testing.”
