For the summer season, three regional lines to Jersey have opened.
Blue Islands, a Channel Islands carrier, has begun service between Norwich and Jersey.
The new route was announced at the same time that the airline announced that wearing face masks would henceforth be optional on all flights.
The Norwich-Jersey service will run on Saturdays and Tuesdays until 24th September.
Premier Holidays and Blue Islands collaborate on the Norwich-Jersey service.
Mark Godfrey, the director, stated: “By offering a wide selection of competitively priced holidays to Jersey including short breaks, luxury gourmet stays, traditional package holidays, coach groups and self-catering options, Premier Holidays have secured strong forward sales for the 2022 season.”
Rob Veron, CEO of Blue Islands, stated: “Our new Norwich service both enhances connectivity for Jersey residents whilst providing another valuable access point for inbound visitors to enjoy our beautiful island this summer.”
Eastern Airways inaugurated summer Saturday services to Jersey from both Humberside and Teesside airports at the same day.
Roger Hage, general manager, stated: “Given the UK staycation growth remains the focus for many into 2022, we have extended the length of the operating season to Jersey from both Humberside and Teesside airports in conjunction with our primary partners of C I Travel Group and Premier Travel.”
