AmaWaterways, a luxury river cruise service, has announced plans to return to the Mekong River on 17th October.
Reservations for the 124-passenger AmaDara river cruises through Vietnam and Cambodia are now available.
As confidence returns, visitors are looking for “genuine experiences in exotic destinations,” according to Jamie Loizou, general director of AmaWaterways.
“We are delighted to be returning to the Mekong, which has been an incredibly popular destination for us in the past,” he added. “We are seeing strong forward bookings for 2023 and 2024 and, with entry regulations easing, it isn’t too late to travel to this spectacular part of the world in 2022”.
AmaDara will provide two itineraries, Riches of the Mekong and Charms of the Mekong, that will take guests to rural communities, markets, and a monastery where they will be blessed by Buddhist monks.
AmaWaterways will also offer a two-for-one land package discount on seven 2022 voyages to commemorate the return. Both AmaDara itineraries can be paired with land packages in Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, or Siem Reap before or after the cruise.
