In May 2023, Amadeus River Cruises will debut a new river ship that will sail on many European rivers.
The Rhine and the Danube, as well as the Dutch and Belgian canals, will be served by Amadeus Riva.
It will have 12 walk-out suites and 68 outside cabins spread out over three decks.
The new ship will be built in accordance with “the progressive design and top-level standard” of the rest of the Amadeus fleet, according to the Austrian line.
The Panorama-Restaurant, Café Vienna, the River Terrace bar on the ship’s bow, and the Panorama-Bar, which has a dance floor, are among the hospitality venues aboard the 135-meter Riva.
From spring 2023, passengers on Amadeus Riva will have a choice of 14 departures. A Classical Danube trip from Passau to Budapest is eight days long, while a 10-day Danube cruise from Vienna to Bucharest is ten days long.
Any cruise reservations made before 3oth November 2022 will receive a 15% early booking discount.
Amadeus River Cruises’ founder and managing director, Martina Lueftner, said: “With the Amadeus Riva we continue our 40-year tradition of excellence by providing a contemporary response to the strong worldwide demand for premium river cruises.
“This includes modern elegance and luxurious comfort as well as innovative and pioneering standards in environmental protection and ship technology.”
