Denmark Abolished All Covid Travel Restrictions

Yesterday (Tuesday), all Covid travel restrictions to Denmark were abolished.
When traveling to Denmark, Covid-related criteria for testing or self-isolation have been reduced.
The Foreign Office has amended its travel advice to clarify the country’s removal of all Covid-19 entry restrictions.
Denmark has become the first EU country to lift all pandemic-related restrictions, following the lead of the United Kingdom.
To enter pubs, restaurants, and other indoor places, travelers are no longer required to wear face masks or present Covid immunization certificates.
Magnus Heunicke, the Danish health minister, is quoted as saying: “No one can know what will happen next December.
“But we promised the citizens of Denmark that we will only have restrictions if they are truly necessary, and we’ll lift them as soon as we can. That’s what’s happening right now.”
Should the international situation with the virus change, including new versions, Danish authorities still retain the ability to impose travel restrictions on short notice.
