The French Park Parc Astérix will return to the public on 9th April, with a new parade and a refurbished rollercoaster due to debut during the month.
The theme park, which is 22 miles north of Paris and features 47 attractions and shows, is named after the comic book hero.
Tonnerre 2 Zeus, the improved rollercoaster, will launch on an undetermined date in April and will contain additional carriages, including an inverted carriage at the back.
Asterix, Obelix, Cleopatra, Caesar, and the characters from the Village will appear in the new Gaulish Parade, along with Julius Caesar’s chariot, a Cleopatra float, and a float featuring the “Indomitable Gauls.”
Visitors can participate by dressing up like a Roman or an Egyptian.
In the Oise-Pays de France Regional Nature Park, the attraction is located close to a 450-room themed hotel complex.
