The Amadeus Cara, a new ship from Amadeus River Cruises, will begin operation next year.
The 163-passenger ship will navigate the Danube, Rhine, and their tributaries.
The ship’s arrival will make the fleet one of Europe’s newest and most modern, according to the firm.
According to the brand, one of the features is a newly created air filtering system that delivers a two-stage cleaning “proved to achieve good results, even with Covid-19 viral particles and germs.”
The 135-meter-long ship’s first voyage will be an eight-day Rhine trip between Basel and Amsterdam on 10th June 2022.
Kirsty Reid, UK product and sales manager said: “The new ship in 2022 will not only serve as much needed extra capacity increase for the great demand for our high quality river cruises, but is also a promise to our passengers that we will continue to offer one of the most modern fleets in the five-star segment.”
