APT Adds Two Ships to its Mekong 2022 and 2023 Program

For the years 2022 and 2023, APT will add two ships to its Mekong program: the Mekong Serenity and the RV Apsara.

The new-build Mekong Serenity has been custom-built for APT’s premium fleet and can transport up to 88 guests.

The ship offers “some of the largest entry-level suites of any vessel traveling the Mekong River,” according to the operator.

The Horizon Bar and Grill and the Indochine restaurant are two of Mekong Serenity’s eating options. In the Harmony Lounge and Bar, passengers can see traditional Cambodian dance performances.

The 15-day Vietnam and Cambodia Highlights and the 19-day Vietnam and Cambodia Discovery itineraries will be offered by the ship (shown).

The Vietnam and Cambodia Highlights tour, which takes you from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Siem Reap, Cambodia, costs £4,145 per person, down from £5,295. When bookings are made before 31st December, a £1,150 discount is offered.

Return flights, home-to-airport transfers, hotel accommodations, the cruise, meals, and drinks are all included in the price. The departure dates for both itineraries are July 2022 and March 2023.

RV Apsara previously served in APT’s luxury fleet, but will now sail for Travelmarvel, the company’s premium brand.
The 108-passenger ship includes an all-balcony layout, as well as a sun deck, an air-conditioned lounge, and a spa. Mekong Restaurant, the primary eating room, serves foreign and local cuisine.

The RV Apsara will run two itineraries: a 14-day Essential Vietnam and Cambodia itinerary and an 18-day Discover Vietnam and Cambodia itinerary.

The Essential Vietnam and Cambodia voyage departing from Ho Chi Minh City now costs £2,945 per person, down from £3,945. Only bookings booked before 31st December will be eligible for the £1,000 discount.

Flights, a seven-night cruise, hotel accommodations on land, meals, and select beverages are all included in the discounted ticket.

From July 2022 through March 2023, both routes are available.

According to APT managing director Paul Melinis, the firm is Asia’s “number one cruise line” in terms of volume.
