British Airways passengers can check travel restrictions and entry requirements for any airline flying destination.
In order to give passengers the latest inbound and outbound rules, an interactive map of the airline website ba.com has been introduced.
The tool collects the latest information from more than 100 countries, providing thousands of sources and up-to-date use of millions of data points.
The map also helps customers understand what is required for their return to Great Britain.
Visitors to the page will be able to visually search by traffic light color or type in their desired location to see what travel limitations each country has in place before booking a trip.
There’s also a button that lets buyers specify whether or not they’ve been vaccinated, which affects the findings.
Sherpa, a multinational IT business, collaborated on the new page.
BA’s digital director, Jack Smith, said: “We know that travel in this new Covid era can feel overwhelming for our customers, and our job is to make their lives as straightforward as possible.
“This new tool, which has been tried and is trusted by our joint business partner, American Airlines, will help people navigate the differing entry requirements, to allow for a smooth booking and travel experience.”
Flexible bookings, testing, how to use a voucher, and what the flying experience is like for individuals who haven’t traveled recently are all covered by BA’s current online Covid portal.
