The Malta Tourism Authority is encouraging tour operator partners to register their interest in participating in an incentive program aimed at encouraging tourists aged 65 and up to book longer vacations in the Maltese archipelago.
The €1 million plan, which will be dispersed among all markets, aims to entice long-stay travelers by providing coupons to those who book a minimum of 15 nights in the destination.
Travelers visiting the Maltese islands between 18th October and 19th December 2021, will be eligible for the vouchers.
Eligible travelers will receive coupons worth €100, which they can claim when they arrive in Malta.
The vouchers can be used at participating restaurants, hotels, retail stores, and service providers.
Tour operators should express their interest in the program by sharing the number of people they expect to use it.
